Are you brainwashed?

by | Feb 22, 2023

The question is not IF you’re being brainwashed.

It’s WHAT are you allowing to be brainwashed by.

Denying that you’ve been brainwashed is pure IGNORANCE.

Once you understand that the world has an agenda to brainwash you to accept its narrative, you gain discernment and can see its motive.

Sometimes the motive is to get you to consider an idea.

Other times the motive is to simply get you to buy a product.

In the current cycle of history, it’s to get the masses to buy into a destructive ideology to enslave people and murder the masses.

I know I sound extreme, but historical cycles don’t lie.

We can see this cycle repeating in the west about every 80 years.

You can see the same in the eat as well.

Nazi Germany in the 1940ish
American Civil War in the 1860ish
American Revolutionary War in 1776ish

Keep going back, even to the bible and you will see cycles of 40 years and 80 years being very common in transformation and repetition.

There are a few good books out there that teach about these civic cycles. One is called Pendulum.

The Bible tells us that Moses lived to be 120 years old (40 x 3).

He spent 40 years herding sheep

It wasn’t until he lived to be 80 (experiencing a full historical cycle giving him a full perspective of a civic cycle) that God called him to lead 600,000 people out of Egypt and into the wilderness for 40 years.

So why were Moses and the Israelites forced to stay in the wilderness for 40 years? They needed a renewal of their minds. They needed to completely trust in God before He would allow them to return. There had to be a transformation. Just like we see in society every 40 years as we transform from a “me” society to a “we” society.

In that time in the wilderness, what do you think happened to them? Their minds, hearts, and spirit were brainwashed. They were removed from the narrative brainwashing being done in Egypt and were being re-programmed by God. The Bible tells us this wasn’t an easy transformation either as they rebelled along the way. This is where the 10 commandments were created, again, re-programming.

So as I’m writing this I’m asking what else do we need to learn from Moses and the Israelites.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NKJV)
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

Have peace in knowing that what we’re experiencing is not new. There might be certain things like technology that are new, but the scenario is not. God has promised to look out for us, He will love forsake us or leave us. But that may not look like how we think. We must be open to God’s ways and not that of our own understanding.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God

Titus 3:5 (NKJV)
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit

I Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)
For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Do not let the world brainwash you, instead allow God to do that. Renew your mind by filling it with the word of God. Allow God and the Holy Spirit to consume you rather than the world.

Like the Israelites, this isn’t an instant transformation. It can take a lifetime of de-programming the brainwashing that was done. That’s why we’re to focus on teaching the young and old. It can take generations to change the world so that they may see the light.

And finally, that means leaving the world as you know it. It appears that Moses couldn’t teach the Israelites in the current environment they were in. They had to be completely removed from the world they knew to be renewed and transformed into what God wanted them to be.

Perhaps that’s something we need to consider right now in our lives, our churches, and our society. Perhaps we need a clean break from the ways of the world so that we turn to God once again for everything. Perhaps we need to walk away from the things we know brainwash us into thinking like the world and just go back to the Bible and get re-brainwashed by the word of God?
