Are you closing the door to God’s blessings?

by | May 12, 2023

Starting James over again.

One simply cannot read it all once and believe God has given them the full picture.

My summary:

???? Suffering creates patience. That’s the purpose of suffering.
???? A patient man seeks wisdom in his suffering.
???? God is never sparing in offering wisdom.
???? Follow God’s wisdom without wavering. It’s your trust in God in all situations that allow you to be blessed by Him.

The man that doesn’t quite trust, leans on his own understanding that closes the door on God’s blessings.

Further teaching us there are no works to receive God’s blessings. All we need is to trust in Him, which is sometimes the hardest thing to do.

This is different than all the religions of the world that tell you to work in order to receive blessings. God says believe, He’ll bless you in order that you will do works to glorify Him because He is faithful to His word.
