Burried in sin

by | Feb 24, 2023

Drunk people don’t realize how drunk they appear to sober people.

People who smell bad don’t realize how bad they smell to others who do not smell bad.

People who are drug addicts don’t realize how far gone they are compared to their loved ones who are not users.

There is this issue where we don’t see a problem because we’re surrounded by that problem.

To all the drunks, you don’t seem like an alcoholic. But someone who doesn’t drink sees it right away.

The same thing works with sin. The more a society accepts it, the farther downhill it goes. And they don’t see it because they’re in the middle of it.

But those who are conscious of what sin is can recognize it.

Along those same lines, good people can see both what good and evil look like. But bad people can only see good, they’re so numb to the bad and evil that surrounds them, they just can’t see it for what it is.

Those who wish to enslave the world, cause wars, and create genocide cannot see the evil they’re doing. When this all shakes down and we reflect back we will see that like all other tyrants, they’re so deep in their sins, they can’t see how evil they are.

This goes back to a previous post I made that explains how all evil comes from good. Because these people cannot see the evil they’re doing, they believe it to be good.

Strength, Pride, and Weaknesses

Strength, Pride, and Weaknesses

Someone once told me, we do not have weaknesses. What we have are our strengths that are misused, underused, or abused. We can all see our main weaknesses; they're glaringly apparent to the point where we can acknowledge them. It's the hidden weaknesses, attached to...

Hineni: Seeking The Favor Of God
