Is Christian Patriotism the way?

by | Apr 29, 2023

I see a lot of believers who love their country and believe Christian patriotism will save their nation.

May I remind you that 40 years of Christian patriotism has led America to this very point in time?

That Christian patriotism lead Germany into WWII.

And it’s Christian patriotism that’s fueling Russian troops to fight for what is right in their minds.

Someone might read this and conclude that Christianity is the problem, but that’s because they don’t know God.

The problem is the perversion of scripture.

These believers put God right on the same pedestal as their country.

God + Country = Their faith.

But the Bible says it’s Christ alone.

You cannot serve two masters.

You’ll love the one and hate the other.

And when it comes time to choose who you call Lord, history proves the majority pick their country before God.

Even just long enough to do very regretful things.

If you truly call Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour, you’ll drop your nationality on earth and join the kingdom of heaven.

If the global cult wants our nations, I think the best thing we can do is hand it to them. Here you go, have it.

It’ll come with great sacrifice, but it’s not ours to lose.

We live life on God’s terms, not Satan’s.

What does that look like…I’m still working on that.

But that’s what happened to Rome. Christians denounced them as superior ruler and then discipled the nation. Eventually, Rome had no option but to dissolve.

The early Christians suffered dearly, led people to God, and they became citizens of heaven. And that changed the world.

So if you are touting Christian patriotism, understand, it’s not biblical and it’s led to most of history’s darkest times.
