Love is NOT tolerant
Love is NOT tolerant.
It’s patient.
It’s kind.
It’s enduring.
It’s hopeful.
It’s peaceful.
It’s self-control.
It is NOT tolerant.
And that’s the problem with the modern Church. The world has told it that if it was loving, it would be tolerant of its ways.
And then the modern church then stopped following Jesus Christ, and instead followed the world’s definition of what being loving is.
Jesus was never tolerant of sin. He drew a line and defined that which is good and that which is sinful. He taught the difference and held NO space for sin to exist in His life.
And then, he was loving to those who were sinful. He did all the things that are defined as love for us.
Do you see the difference?
Sin has festered in our culture because The Church has tolerated it.
Not just in the culture, but right within the church, right within our homes.
As Christians, we need to stop being tolerant of sin. Yes, we still need to be loving but stop believing the lie that being loving means we’re tolerant. That is a lie from the devil himself that has allowed for sin to enter our lives.

Why does the world hate the concept of sin?
Why does the world hate the concept of sin?
They say it’s because it’s a religious construct in order to control people.
In reality, it’s looking at our deepest, darkest, and ugliest flaws and desires and knowing we have no hope of defeating them. Every single human is tempted by their sin.
Sin starts as a tiny seed, and yet is so powerful that it not only brings death and destruction in our earthly realm but also to our eternity in the spiritual realm.
It’s such an all-encompassing disease that progresses through the life of all mankind it took a loving God with immense grace to come to us as a man, show us the example of what it’s like to be sinless, and then save us from our own sin.
