Pride and greed are what make the world go round
Pride and greed are what make the world go round.
Sure, there is a lot in the world that’s not operating on pride and greed, but it is the minority.
Let’s look at some recent examples.
Nikola Motors was a company built 100% on pride and greed. The company never built a single product sold to the market and yet at one point was valued on the stock market higher than Ford. As with all lies it eventually crumbled and fell to its demise. But that didn’t stop some of the world’s largest companies from investing in it, only to see billions of dollars lost.
Another more recent example was a company called Theranos. Another company built on the same foundation as Nikola Motors, pride and greed. Like Nikola, it never produced a single functional product that worked, yet Elizabeth, the founder became the next billionaire out of silicon valley. And once again, the founder was taken from the highest places of financial success and cast down to prison for her pride and greed.
When you look at just these two examples and the many throughout history that mirror them, they come right from the story of Satan.
You see, Satan, aka the Devil, was cast down out of Heaven because of his pride and greed. His jealousy of God filed his actions which got him kicked out of Heaven.
Christians love this story because it’s such a simple lesson. Don’t be greedy, jealous, or prideful.
We further learn of his ways throughout the Bible as he’s interacted with us humans.
From his cunning nature that convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, to the convincing skills he used to try and tempt Jesus with the illusion of power, we can see how deception is used hand in hand with greed and pride.
And what do we see happen in all of these examples?
Innocent people get taken advantage of while these “devils” attempt to climb to the top. When they’re cast down from their high positions, they take people down with them.
So, this leads to an interesting question.
We can see the pattern. We know what this looks like. All we have to do is see the evidence of the pattern and call it out before it happens.
Yes, people, more specifically Christians, who should know better, are afraid to call it out when they see it. Why is that?
We can see this very thing happening in the world where there is solid evidence of pride and greed that’s ruling the world.
The elite has built a tower of lies and deception on the basis of “health and safety”. As we see the lies unfolding and starting to collapse, many will be crushed in the downfall as the world put its trust in these devils.
So the question I ask again, why are Christians so afraid to call out evil pride and greed when they see it?
Why are they so worried of what the world thinks of them, they must wait until it’s too late to call out evil?
This reminds me of the time when Jesus was teaching His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem to suffer and die as a result of the elders and chief priests.
Peter, one of His disciples began to rebuke Jesus for saying this, to which Jesus responded “Get behind me Satan!”.
The story continues with Jesus teaching His disciples of the great cost it was going to be to follow Him. There is much to gain, but also much to lose.
My thoughts are this. Jesus knew what was coming. He was speaking of the evil result that would happen because of the greed and pride of the men that would sentence Him his torture and death. Peter tried to stop Him, and as a result, Jesus saw Peter’s motive as being influenced by Satan himself. Jesus didn’t hold back, He didn’t second guess Himself, He looked right at His dear disciple and said to him, “Get behind me, Satan”.
Man, that’s gotta hurt. But Jesus held the truth and He wasn’t going to let a lie get in the way of it.
As I write this I can’t help but see so many implications of this story.
We live in a world full of lies built on pride and greed. We’re now in the middle of medical tyranny which has paved the path for environmental tyranny. We can see those in control of it all just want power. You can hear them speak of Godless things, and even saying “we no longer need God”.
And yet, so many Christians I know are afraid to even look at the possibility that the one world government and one world religion are being formed and the scene is being set up to introduce the antichrist.
All based on the fear of “what if I’m wrong”.
That in itself is a form of pride and greed. Because once you call it out for what it is, you’re going to lose friends and family. Even ones that call us brothers and sisters in Christ.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Beyond belief
