A little inspiration from Psalms 2 for this morning.
None of what the rulers of the world conspire is surprising to God.
They deceive and divide us with such narratives of BLM, LGTQXYZ+, Feminism, Communism, fascism, political opinions, health scares, environmentalism, and much more.
But those who know God, understand the true battle is Godless heathen who believe He enslaves them.
So they attempt to build their own kingdoms saying “No God allowed here, we worship our narratives”.
And rightfully so, God laughs at them with ridicule and mockery (derision) explaining how the plan has all been laid out for His Son to rule the whole earth, and that it would be far better for them to submit to Him now rather than later.
I personally love this because it shows a loving and graceful God who will do everything to save humanity, while also laughing at and ridiculing man’s feeble attempts to rise above Him.
While our perspective as believers on earth see the growing strength and power starting to rise against God, He looks down and laughs at them as if to say, “Really? That’s what you’re coming at me with?”
I find comfort in that humour.
