Righteous Thrones and Wicked Powers: A Call to Reflect Christ in a Corrupt Kingdom

Pro 16:10 Divination is on the lips of the king; His mouth must not transgress in judgment.
Pro 16:11 Honest weights and scales are the LORD’s; All the weights in the bag are His work.
Pro 16:12 It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Usually, when we read the word “Divination,” it’s not used in a good context. It’s used in the term of witchcraft, calling on evil spirits, etc.
In this case, it is my understanding that it’s referring to a divine sentence. That the King should be divine in nature, as in reflecting God. God is without deceit. God does not cover up lies. God does not act covertly, has no treachery, and does not transgress. The King should honor God. If you read one of my previous writings on this chapter, you’ll recall that I believe that, as believers, we ought to be like kings, serving the King. Meaning, the king is supposed to serve his people, not rule over them. God has given you free will, making you king of your life, and He is the King of kings. We are to lead others into His ways, not our own. The bible is clear, we’re to mirror Christ, knowing we’re going to be flawed at it.
As per the king mentioned in these verses, we should not transgress, we should not cover lies, we should not deceive others, and we should not trespass onto others.
Now, how does this look in the eyes of the world? Despite the cover-up of the lies, despite the deceptive narrative, despite their best to trespass on us, the world system is ruled by kings. I’ve gone to great lengths in other writing to break this down on how we are owned by the corporations they set up, and it’s all a means to enslave the people. Some call that a pessimistic world-view; I call it biblical.
The bible is also very clear on who the god of this world is, Satan. He rules over it, setting up his kingdom, an unjust kingdom.
God wants us to live in a just kingdom. A kingdom that is fair and equal to the buyers and the sellers. Do we not see where things are going, where the WEF claims we will own nothing and be happy? We are operating in an unjust kingdom where the world elite are attempting to take all the wealth so that they can have control. I don’t care which party you vote for, it’s all going the same direction, they’re just fighting over who gets to be the puppet for the god of this world.
Look at our entire political system, look at the things the elites do. It’s full of wickeness, deception, manipulation, blackmail, etc. All of which is an abomination according to God, and we go to the polls and vote for the least of these evils.
The throne, those who will be kings in the Kingdom of heaven will be righteous, humble, and just, and we’re to mirror that.
I wrap up with Ephesians 6:12. While other versions do not say it in English, the Geneva bible adds in English worldly governors. They didn’t add it in there just for the sake of it. The actual Greek word holds the definition of a world ruler, an epithet of Satan. If a governor, a ruler, a king is wordly, they’re serving Satan. They serve the god of this world, not the Lord of lords, the King of kings, Jesus Christ.
Can we not see that those who pull the strings, finance the world, control the elections, tell us how we ought to live (opposite of them), are the very people this verse is telling us about?
We live according to the word of God, despite the direction of the world. We have no place in the world; this is not our kingdom. We serve another King. We long for the return of His Kingdom while living as if it were here and now…not settling for what the devil provides.
