The paradox of the Christian

by | Mar 15, 2023

I am confident it’s going to get much worse before it gets better.

I am also full of joy knowing we’re in for the best times known to mankind.

???? That is a paradox of the Christian.

A Christian that is worried about the coming judgment the world will receive lacks the joy of the Lord.

A Christian that doesn’t dwell on the things that must come to pass lacks the truth of the revelation of Jesus Christ.

???? That is a paradox of the Christian.

We are not to fear or worry about what tomorrow will bring.

At the same time fearing the Lord and His return as if it could be today.

???? That is a paradox of the Christian.

We are to know how wicked and deceiving the enemy truly is.

While being told to love our enemies.

???? That is a paradox of the Christian.

We are to pray that the world will see the truth.

While knowing that in the last days, the majority will be deceived.

???? That is a paradox of the Christian.

The paradox of the Christian is doing everything necessary to achieve what they believe God wants of them, knowing that it will only happen if God wills it.

Tell me something, is this so different than the life you already live away from God?

I mean, you can work your entire life only to please your own desires, only to have it all taken away in a second.

The economy crashes, the government cracks down, you have a health problem that comes up, etc. Most walk away devastated because they were attached to the outcome they could not achieve.

God says not to worry about the outcome, He will provide enough and satisfy you.
