The sin we tolerate in ourselves is the sin we allow to fester in society

by | Dec 23, 2022

The things we tolerate from within are the things we allow to fester in our society.

And don’t think for a minute that those who control the world don’t know this.

They use media to make us accept what we shouldn’t and demoralize our minds and souls. Our focus gets diverted to the things that don’t serve us. We end up doing things that are immoral.

Then they push phrases like “you’re perfect how you are”. You don’t need to change, just love your imperfect self the way you are and move on. There is no need to change anything about you.

They even twist the Bible to tell Christians that all sins are forgiven, so just keep on sinning. Don’t worry, God’s got your back. God just loves you and wants you to be happy right now. He created everything for your enjoyment.

They know that:

???? If they got you hooked on drugs, you can’t point out their drug problem.
???? If they got you hooked on lying, you can’t point out their lies.
???? If they got you hooked on porn, you can’t point out their sexual perversion.
???? If they got you addicted to sex, you can’t point out their sexual addiction.
???? If they got you stealing to survive, you can’t point at their stealing.
???? If they increase your hatred towards specific groups of people, you can’t fault them for their hatred and attacking that same group.
???? If they got you worshipping false idols, you can’t say anything about them chasing theirs.
???? If they have you worshipping money above all else, you can’t fault them for the same.

I can go on and on.

But it comes down to one thing.

You don’t want to be outed as a hypocrite. So, when you see them doing the same thing (but much worse) that you do, then you can’t call them out on it.

This is especially true in the days of the internet when everything is tracked. You have no idea when something you did online will be used against you.

So, are you tired of what the world is offering?

Are you tired of the woke madness going on?

Are you tired of the indoctrination happening to our children?

Are you tired of tyranny?

It all starts within. As Jordan Peterson would say, If you want to change the world, start by making your bed.

That starts when you stop tolerating and accepting your sins as normal.

Jesus Christ tells us to turn away from self and turn to Him. He tells us to not be of the world.

That’s because the world enslaves us from within.

We’re slaves to the world, simply because we tolerate being a slave to sin.

By simply tolerating sin within ourselves, we allow it to fester and enslave the world because it’s “normal”.

This is why Jesus didn’t only provide grace (forgiveness) for our sins. We need to know that our past is forgiven. There is no need to beat ourselves up over what we’ve tolerated. At the same time, He commands us to repent from our sins and turn to Him.

Jesus not only provided a path to save our souls, but He also shows us how to free ourselves from the sin that enslaves the world.
