I’m analytical.

Not everyone is.

In fact, when it comes to the masses, it’s all back and white.

Marketers, salespeople, and those that control the outcome of society know this very well.

Too many options equal no decisions. Not enough options equal a lack of freedom of choice.

So, the options need to be narrowed down to just 2-3 for the majority of people.

You’ll see that as business package their services into 2-3 options. Or how one jab wasn’t going to save us, we needed 2-3 options for the illusion of choice.

But the reality is, the options are endless. It’s just that most people need it simplified.

So what does that mean for a truly analytical mind like mine?

I often sound like I’m contradicting myself.

I might even come off as a hypocrite or that I’m wishy-washy.

I go back and forth as I express myself.

One day I’ll be critical of Jordan Peterson, the next I will share something saying “he’s speaking the truth”.

On one hand, I’m excited about the show “The Chosen” as it’s spreading the gospel and is a high-quality show. On the other hand, I’m expressing concern about what the creators and actors are pushing outside of the show.

I love movies and entertainment. Nothing beats a great story. But I’m so aware of and analyzing even the smallest narrative being pushed into them that I can hardly stomach any of it anymore.

I’ve been told “stop being the devil’s advocate” or “you’re on the wrong side” because my mind often seeks the other perspective.

And sometimes, yes, I’ll admit it…that all these options do equal no decision for me.

Understanding how the human brain works in this way does not make one impervious to it.

The brain is the brain, and it’s going to operate how it was designed. But we do have control over the programming we put into it.

How often do you catch yourself and say “I should have known better” or “I can’t believe I did that again?” You’re just repeating old programming.

The design of how the brain works cannot be changed (Chip implants will change that), but to a limited extent, we get to re-program our brains to operate how we like.

The thinking patterns we had yesterday do not have to be the ones we have tomorrow.

This is the reason why we have psychology. To understand how the brain and soul operate.

Some people believe the bible and psychology don’t mix. Kind of like the bible a science. The truth is they do mix well together. The question is, is the psychology being used fit within a biblical perspective? If it’s outside of that, where there is no God allowed, well, that’s where we see the psychological issues like gender theory and critical race theory.

But if we dig deep into the bible we can see plenty of examples of psychology being used, almost as if the designer Himself created it.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him

These are just quick examples of how we can re-program our brains within a biblical perspective. It’s how the Holy Spirit guides us and transforms us.

OK, so, I went from starting about being analytical to marketing, to movies, to Jordan Peterson, to brain programming, to the bible and the Holy Spirit.

Do you see how an analytical mind works sometimes?

Those of you that are analytical will get it. Those of you that are not might still be trying to wrap your head around how I connected these things and think this is just a weird post that makes no sense.
