Tyranny exists because YOU allow it to

by | May 24, 2023

Tyranny exists because YOU allow it to.

Because all you desire is food and pleasure.

If the enemy controls that, they control you.

At first, the enemy convinced you that God didn’t exist.

Then the enemy said, if you need God, that makes you weak.

And now the enemy says, serve me, and I will fulfill your desires as your god. I will give you all the food and entertainment you want to be full and happy.

The enemy has mastered the ability to enslave mankind.

But God says that man cannot live on bread alone. That man needs God in order that he may truly live.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

~Matthew 4:4

“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

~Deuteronomy 8:3

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

~John 6:51

And God says not to have idolatry, which is worshipping anything above him. And it doesn’t take much to see how people worship politicians, celebrities, actors, musicians, ideologies, money, etc. All of which entertain us.

You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.

~Exodus 20:23

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

~Colossians 3:5

Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy.

~Jonah 2:8

Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

~1 Corinthians 10:14

The idols of the nations [are] silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; They have ears, but they do not hear; Nor is there [any] breath in their mouths. Those who make them are like them; [So is] everyone who trusts in them.

~Psalm 135:15-18

But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?

~Galations 4:8-9

Understand how we got here. We were full and entertained by sinful things. We were distracted by the things we idolize, allowing the enemy to slowly enslave us.

Today, many people, including, many Christians, did not heed God’s warning to us. They’re too busy eating the food that kills us, and being entertained by the things that enslave our soul.

I am a sinner

I am a sinner

I am a sinner. To some, this is an incorrect statement; it doesn't exist. To others, this is an empty statement, accepted and meaningless. To many, this is a shameful admission, a low view of self. And to the few, this is a statement of life. This statement is the...
