Wars and rumours of war
War is nothing new. In North America, we’ve not seen war on our soil in a very long time. We’ve been very fortunate that way.
There have been a few attacks, but not full-on war.
At least not that you can see.
The reality is that we’re always at war. It’s just that we’ve become so comfortable and complacent that we don’t see it for what it is.
But when you pick up a little book called “The Art Of War” by Sun Tzu which was written about 5 century BC, you’ll discover that we’re in the middle of a war right now.
Again, we’re not in a new war. War is always being waged against us. And as the book explains, the best way to wage a war on people is with a war that people don’t know they’re in.
For the rest of this post, I’m going to put you in the position of the ruler of the army that is waging war.
You see, the objective of war is to gain assets. The assets are land and people.
A head-on war between nations is exhausting, expensive, and full of casualties. You’re then left with worn-out people who have lost everything. They’re disobedient to your commands and are hard to manage. You’re left with no choice but to enslave them. Force them to follow your ways or dispose of them. Disobedient people become liabilities instead of assets. You can’t have that when trying to rule over a new society. This becomes very expensive trying to manage all of the issues that resulted from your war.
A secret war though is much more efficient. It takes longer, sometimes much longer. But the cost is much lower, there are fewer casualties both of your armies and the ones you’re fighting against.
Again, the object of your war is to gain assets, land and people. With a secret war, you can gain both with little loss of the assets you’ve gained.
So how is a secret war waged?
You send spies to gain intel.
You send spies to befriend people.
You send spies to change the minds of the people.
You convert people to your religion of multiple gods.
The people become your missionaries.
You then begin the process of demoralizing the people of that nation. You promise them riches and the ability to access all the desires they could hope for.
You then spread rumours of war and division that pit the people against each other. Those who have not converted to your way of thinking will soon be attacked by those who have accepted your multi-god religion.
The very nation you are invading is now fighting your war for you. You plan secret attacks on their infrastructure that appear to be accidents. The people are so divided and overwhelmed they just can’t see what’s happening to them. You’ve avoided using your expensive military resources and saved them for your next mission. Peace and security.
That’s right. The very war you’ve created, you’re now swooping in as the hero to be the peacekeeper. And you have the full support of those who have converted to your religion and you’re able to have them fight against those who refused to convert. You’re using the same exact tactics Hitler used against the Jews.
And that’s when the accepted religion changes. The multiple gods that are worshipped all point to one that they call god. You. You have created unity and a mission worth dying for. You stopped the people and other gods from fighting each other. You have formed the one religion that controls it all, and the people adore you for the peace and security you have provided.
You have become what the bible says is an Anti-Christ.
Ok, you’re not really him, but you’ve taken on the spirit of him.
You’ve only consumed one nation, not the world. But that same spirit continues to go from host to host looking to achieve the same goal in all nations. The mission is to promise world peace and security through the unity of its religion.
OK, let’s remove you from this story.
When you look at the history of the world, you can see all the moves made to gain nations and shift them into one. This is done through multiple religions and multiple gods. We’re told to see WWII as a simple war against one nation that was ruled by evil. When we look at the wars out east, it’s just one terrorist organization. When we look at the current situation out east, it’s just big bad Russia bullying Ukraine, it’s just bad Isreal causing war.
But the big picture paints something much different. Each nation on earth is infiltrated by the spirit of the Anti-Christ that has one goal in mind. You just need to step back from your emotional attachment to the current war or rumours of war to see it.
OK, so if we’re dealing with this Anti-Christ spirit that wants to rule the world, what do we do about it?
Well. First, recognize it for what it is. It’s against the one true God of the bible.
It uses destruction and deceit to gain its ground.
It’s in war mode all of the time, never taking a day off.
And does it all under the radar hoping you never see it for what it is.
While it’s plotting war against you, it’s playing on your desires. It offers an easy-boy chair to relax on while drinking a beer while you passionately get your aggression out at the fake war on TV, the sports game.
It’s offering you all the sinful desires you could want. Sex, drugs, porn, fancy cars, big houses, dream BBQ’s all in hopes that you don’t see the war that’s being waged against you.
And it presents you with multiple gods so that you don’t see him among them. Each one is to serve the god of self-desire.
Each whispering to you, do not deny self. You deserve this. It’s ok, it won’t hurt you to put yourself first all the time.
All the while your sins build up not realizing that the very sins you tolerate within are the very sins you’re allowing to divide and destroy your society.
After a while society begins to accept those sins and starts movements that tell everyone to enjoy them! God gave them for us to embrace, enjoy, and do what we will with them!
And those who refuse to accept this become the ones society wages war against because they’re the ones who want to deny them of the pleasures they love in life.
But you hold the book of life. The truth. The light. You know the path to darkness and you shine the light on it, which attracts the self-indulging masses and leads to your persecution.
But you’re on a mission from God. You know that you’re in the middle of a war, and you must never let go of the truth, regardless of where it leads you. And you will be rewarded for it.
You see, the mission of the Christian is not to win the war. The Christian shouldn’t be attached to the outcome of the war, for the war is God’s to win, not ours.
I’m a fighter for freedom. I believe we’ve been given certain rights by God. But the mission is not to save Canada or the USA.
The mission is to know we’re in a war much larger, and fight in those battles all the time!
In war, battles are won and battles are lost. We do NOT know which battles God is willing to lose for a time in order that the war will be won. And the hardest part for us humans to remember is that the war has already been won. Our limited perspective of time gets in the way of that.
Jesus Christ already won the war. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, and Jesus will return to take His place on the throne.
The problem is that most Christians forget this. Or some don’t even know it.
When you said yes to Jesus, you didn’t just get a ticket into heaven. Your soul was purchased. Your ownership was transferred from the god that rules this world trying to build his kingdom to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
You became a soldier of Christ. And as a soldier of Christ, you have been given commands to deny self, repent of your sins, and get on mission for the great commission. Make disciples of the nations.
While those around us fight physical wars, we know the battleground is not here, it’s in the spiritual realm.
The Bible gives us instructions on how to fight these wars, and the enemy uses the same tactics.
We learn how the enemy works through discernment.
We befriend people as we stay within their circles.
We educate people on the truth, hoping they see the light.
We show them there is only but one God that knows all.
And when those people turn to God, we help them become missionaries that fight the spiritual battles in their circles.
War is at hand. You’ve just been too distracted to see it.

Beyond belief
There is no such thing as color when you ask a dog. The land is where you go to die, when you ask a fish. And yet we know both are not true because we have a greater understanding of things than dogs and fish. Are we so ignorant to not believe that things exist beyond...
