We wonder why people don’t take Christianity seriously in North America.
The Church in general has become a part of the world rather than stand out from it.
The majority of North American “Christians” are not equipped with the word of God. They do not take it seriously and do not open their bible.
And then they say “We’re not sure what happened, we were let down by our church” as if to exclude themselves from the church.
The Church is not a building or an organization. It’s a body of Christ in which YOU are a vital part of. If the church is deviating from the word of God, it is YOUR job to do something about it. And YOU can’t do that if YOU don’t read YOUR bible.
These Christian men were brutally executed with dull knives to set an example for those who oppose Christ.
And we’re over here making adult plays about how Jesus still loves you even though you have a small booty.
My point is not to make you feel down or depressed.
It’s to show you, you have something worth dying for, Jesus Christ. Jesus told us the world will hate you because it hated Him first. We’re not here to please the world or save the world by the number of attendees we attract. We’re here to share the message of Jesus Christ and accept the fact that the world hates it. But it’s only Jesus Christ that can save us and them.
Let’s have the joy of the Lord, soak in His blessing, and spread His love. But never forget we’re on a mission. We’re called to spiritual warfare. And we must be training for that every day.
Open your bible every morning and start training. Even for 2 minutes if that’s all you can do right now. Then 3 minutes, and 4, and on and on.
