Some days I think man, what could Jesus have done with our technology and understanding of people today? Think of the impact He could have had.
His voice could have been heard across the world all at once. Why wait thousands of years for it to get to only 90% of the world?
How much better would his message have been if He had a vocal coach, a copywriter, and an agent to help Him gain popularity?
Don’t get me started on social media, no algorithm could stop him, he would be the viral master! He would have a dozen or so social media disciples helping Him share memes with great meaning.
The possibilities are endless in how Jesus would share His good news to the world that He came to save us.
And yet, the truth is, He’d not bother with any of it.
He’d go find a good place in the hills, find a few sinners in the crowds and teach them His ways.
He would show them and others who He is through miracles and fulfilled prophecies.
He would use a deep and meaningful relationship with people to transform the world. And yet the masses would not care because he’s not using the methods they want.
They would respond with, “So you’re the messiah? Where’s your tweets bro? How many followers have you got on Instagram? No Tiktok? Bro, you’re a no one”.
