Why must we be soldiers of truth?
Why can’t we just leave people alone to live their own “truths”?
People are happy with their lies, just let them be!
Well, that’s a pretty easy one.
A society that loves living a lie is not a society that is grounded in reality.
A society not grounded in reality doesn’t care about the reality of those around them.
And when no one cares about how their reality impacts the reality of those around them, it all falls apart.
Society must have a foundational truth in which anchors its reality.
Jesus Christ and the Bible have been the foundation of truth for over 2000 years now.
It’s survived every attack against it. Regardless of the torture, death, and persecution, it’s lasted.
It’s even been infiltrated from within, twisted, manipulated, and smeared through the mud.
And it still stands.
That’s the thing about truth. You can throw every lie in the world at it, and eventually, it still comes out. It cannot be destroyed, buried, or forgotten. The truth always prevails.
While all the other so-called truths have come and gone, the Bible stands the test of time, because it’s true.
We must always defend the truth.
