Why the church has lost its authority over the world
Yesterday I was at a prayer meeting with members of our chapel.
The question of how we respond to the darkness that is in the world came up.
Later when on Facebook I saw a post about Ephesians 5:11 and how we are to expose the darkness.
But read the rest of the chapter before vs 11.
I believe like much of the Bible this is in order of importance.
It’s really hard to be convicted to expose darkness when you’re bathing in it yourself because you know you’re being hypocritical.
And this is why I think the church is so quiet about the darkness going on.
This is why the church has lost its authority over the world.
Rather than being pure and exposing the darkness, it’s been preaching “it’s ok, we’re all sinners saved by Christ. Just ask Jesus into your life and continue about your business.”
What the church has lacked is teaching about the transformation. The renewing of our minds, and the accountability between our men to be men of God.
Instead, we settle for being sinners rather than saints.
Exposing the darkness of the world starts with looking inside our own darkness.
Vulnerable moment. I've been feeling a little lost as of late. A little overwhelmed. Feeling like I don't have control of certain circumstances I want to. I feel like my life has been going down one path and there is a call coming from behind me saying "Stop! You've...

Beyond belief
There is no such thing as color when you ask a dog. The land is where you go to die, when you ask a fish. And yet we know both are not true because we have a greater understanding of things than dogs and fish. Are we so ignorant to not believe that things exist beyond...
